Your Responsibilities
As part of our internationally oriented Digital Health Excellence Center, you will work with colleagues from various countries – while also being anchored at one of our German locations in Cologne, Berlin, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt/Main, Hamburg, Munich, or Stuttgart. We realize both international projects and initiatives for German federal, state, and local administrations, thereby shaping modern, secure systems for millions of people.
The focus is on the digital transformation of the healthcare system – from interoperable IT solutions to innovative digital health strategies. You will take on a variety of tasks:
- Define target architectures & reference architectures (domain/module interfaces, data flows, persistence strategies) for web/mobile healthcare projects
- Analyze requirements and create technical concepts and models
- Collaborate with project managers, Scrum Masters, and developers to implement agile projects; conduct code-related reviews
- Ensure interoperability and compliance with standards such as HL7/FHIR, OMOP, or openEHR
- Advise on technology trends and their application in healthcare
Minimum requirements
Your Skillset
- Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, (Software) Engineering, or a comparable IT-related field, along with at least 4 years of professional experience, ideally 2 years in the healthcare sector, and German and English language skills at a C1 level
- Deep understanding of software architectures (network, infrastructure, security, persistence, application, Frontend) and experience with database design and modeling
- Knowledge in web and mobile development (e.g., Angular, ASP.net, Ruby on Rails, Android/iOS) and common programming languages (Java, C++, C#, Python, PHP)
