Our Financial Services division focuses on financial services and supports banks, insurance companies, and asset managers in being successful in an ever-changing and fast-paced world.
Your Responsibilities
As part of our Business Consulting Finance team, you will support our clients in the financial industry in Berlin, Düsseldorf, Hamburg, Hanover, Cologne, Munich, or Stuttgart in agile finance transformation, in optimizing or transforming financial management (forecast, plan, controlling, consolidation, and reporting), as well as in the areas of financial processes, financial data management, finance analytics, and the digitalization of the finance function. You will develop holistic solutions, ranging from the strategic orientation of the business model and the functional conception of financial processes and architecture to implementation in the financial architecture and data landscape. You will take on a variety of tasks:
- Advising national and international companies in the financial and insurance sectors on the implementation of regulatory and strategic requirements in data management (e.g., BCBS 239 / RDARR, MaRisk, Solvency II)
- Development and implementation of data governance frameworks, role models, and policies for finance and risk data
- Establishment of data quality and control concepts, including KPI definition, monitoring, and data quality reporting
- Analysis and documentation of data flows (data lineage) as well as the use of metadata management and business glossary tools to ensure transparency and traceability
- Co-design and implementation of IReF-compliant data architectures, data models, and end-to-end reporting processes
Minimum requirements
Your Skillset
- Completed studies in business administration, business informatics, mathematics, or a comparable qualification with a focus on Finance, Data & Analytics
- Very good communication skills in German (at least C1 level) and English
Your Mindset
- Agile: You believe that a flexible mindset is just as important for success as knowledge and skills.
- Curious: You are ambitious and dedicated. We are looking for people who see opportunities rather than challenges and find better solutions through targeted questions.
- Team-oriented: You value diverse perspectives and enjoy working in a team. We are looking for people who want to achieve something together with us and create a trusting work environment.
- Ideally, experience with tools such as Collibra, D-Quantum, Informatica, or comparable data governance & metadata solutions, and knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g., BCBS239, RDARR, MaRisk, VAIT, DORA, Solvency II)
