Your Responsibilities
As part of our international Digital Health Excellence Center, you will work with colleagues from various countries while being based at one of our German locations in Cologne, Berlin, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt/Main, Hamburg, Munich, or Stuttgart. We execute both international projects and initiatives for German federal, state, and municipal administrations, designing modern, secure systems for millions of people.
The focus is on the digital transformation of the healthcare sector – from interoperable IT solutions to innovative digital health strategies. In this role, you will take on diverse tasks:
- Development and maintenance of data architectures for complex digital health platforms, including the integration of clinical and administrative data sources
- Design and implementation of data models for structured and unstructured health data, taking into account interoperability standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR)
- Ensuring data quality, governance, and compliance, particularly with regard to data protection (GDPR) and regulatory requirements in the healthcare sector
- Advising project teams and stakeholders on best practices in data management, cloud architectures, and big data technologies
- Evaluation and introduction of modern technologies such as data lakes, ETL processes, API management, and AI-based analytics to improve patient care
Minimum requirements
Your Skillset
- Sound knowledge of data architecture and data modeling, ideally in the digital health or healthcare IT environment
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) as well as database technologies (SQL, NoSQL) and ETL tools
- At least 4 years of experience in the design and implementation of data solutions, complemented by German and English language skills at the C1 level
