Engineer Commissioning (m/f/d)

Discover your exciting role As an Engineer Commissioning, you will be part of our Quality & Commissioning team. With your technical expertise, you will ensure that mechanical and building services systems are properly installed, tested, and successfully commissioned. You will support the commissioning process from construction completion through functional and integration testing to the final handover to the client. Explore your tasks and responsibilities Plan, coordinate, and execute the commissioning of mechanical and MEP systems throughout all commissioning phases – from installation completion to final handover Provide technical support for the commissioning of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, cooling, plumbing, and other mechanical systems, including their interfaces with other disciplines Develop and implement commissioning strategies, test concepts, test procedures, and schedules in line with project-specific requirements Coordinate closely with clients, engineering teams, contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and other project stakeholders Perform and support functional, performance, and integration testing, including troubleshooting, fault analysis, and technical issue resolution Carry out and document inspections, walkdowns, punch list management, and monitor the complete and timely resolution of outstanding issues Prepare and review commissioning documentation, test records, and reports, ensuring compliance with quality, EHS, applicable standards, and client requirements Show your expertise Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related discipline Several years of professional experience in the commissioning of MEP, HVAC, or mechanical systems, ideally in technically complex industrial projects Strong knowledge in one or more areas of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, cooling, plumbing, or general building services engineering Experience in commissioning complex technical systems and their multidisciplinary integration Knowledge of relevant standards, regulations, quality requirements, and commissioning procedures Experience working with and coordinating clients, contractors, vendors, and multidisciplinary project teams Strong troubleshooting, technical documentation, and communication skills, combined with a structured and independent way of working Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken, as well as willingness to travel for project-related assignments
