About the opportunity
Our clients from the energy and housing industries rely daily on systems that you help shape.
As a Backend Developer (m/f/d), you will make an existing, business-critical backend measurably faster, more stable, and more maintainable – thus ensuring that our software continues to run reliably even in five years.
If optimizing, decluttering, and clean further development bring you more joy than starting from scratch on a "green field," you are exactly right with us.
WHERE YOU'LL CONTRIBUTE
- You will develop, maintain, and optimize an existing Backend system for the energy and housing industries.
- You will build Backend components and REST-APIs and connect external SOAP/REST interfaces.
- You will analyze the system and specifically improve performance, stability, and maintainability.
- You will independently plan requirements and coordinate closely with the team, team lead, and product owner.
- You will implement clean business logic with a focus on sustainable architecture.
- You will write automated tests, perform code reviews, and provide constructive feedback within the team.
WHAT YOU BRING
- You have very good knowledge of C# and sound experience with the .NET Framework (from version 6, ideally .NET 8/9).
- You have several years of professional experience in Backend development and work confidently in existing system landscapes.
- You have experience with Entity Framework Core and working with PostgreSQL.
- You develop clean, testable code and are familiar with OOP, Design Patterns, and CI/CD.
- You have experience in analyzing, optimizing, and automating processes.
- You work in a structured manner, think analytically, and implement requirements independently and reliably.
- You communicate clearly, proactively, and solution-oriented within the team.
- You have very good German skills (at least C1) and good English skills, both written and spoken – which is important for direct communication with our stakeholders.
- Ideally, you have knowledge of cloud technologies like Azure and have experience with container technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, or Helm.
- You have experience with tools like Azure DevOps or GitHub.
