As a Salesforce System Engineer - Architecture & Platform (m/f/d), you are responsible for the end-to-end further development of our Salesforce Energy & Utilities Cloud, from application architecture to operational implementation within a complex system landscape. Together with E2E architects, specialist departments, product owners, and other stakeholders, you will develop scalable and high-performance platform solutions. In doing so, you will combine technological innovation with stable processes and integrate relevant developments from the Salesforce roadmap as well as new technologies like AI into the technical direction of our platform.
The end-to-end further development of our Salesforce Energy & Utilities Cloud is in your hands - from application architecture to operational implementation within a complex system landscape, including integration platforms such as MuleSoft.
Scalable and high-performance solutions are created through your close coordination with E2E architects, specialist departments, product owners, and other stakeholders. You keep an eye on the impact along the entire value chain.
You will design the technical direction of our Salesforce implementation. Depending on project requirements, this may temporarily include the technical leadership of an agile development team as well as the targeted management of external partners to ensure quality at a high level continuously.
You will implement technical initiatives within large project structures. You make decisions, take responsibility, and reliably ensure results even in dynamic environments.
You actively drive the continuous optimization of development processes, CI/CD pipelines, as well as deployment and release strategies. You consistently question and improve existing approaches - your own ideas and visions are welcome.
You regularly analyze the status quo of our platform and use relevant developments from the Salesforce roadmap as well as market trends, for example AI, at an early stage to consistently integrate new potential into the architecture.
A sound academic basis forms the foundation for your technical understanding and your ability to penetrate complex systems holistically.
Ideally, you bring more than five years of experience in the design and implementation of complex Salesforce solutions as well as their deployment in demanding system landscapes.
You possess the ability to design high-performance platform solutions and ensure their sustainable performance and stability.
You have experience in technical leadership as well as in managing projects or sub-projects and use agile methods such as Scrum or SAFe confidently.
You consistently ensure quality at the business process, development, and platform levels, supported by sound experience in technical quality assurance measures.
You analyze complex problems in a structured manner, identify root causes in a targeted way, and develop sustainable solutions.
A proactive working style, paired with a high level of personal responsibility, enables you to use challenges as opportunities and achieve tangible results.
With an inspiring demeanor, you communicate confidently with various stakeholders and convince through clarity and impact.
You are proficient in Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, and Salesforce APIs.
You use GitLab, Salesforce CLI, Visual Studio Code, Jira, and Confluence confidently.
You work in complex system landscapes with integration platforms such as MuleSoft and bring experience with CI/CD pipelines as well as deployment and release strategies.
You are familiar with the support possibilities provided by AI in engineering and use relevant technological developments for the further development of the platform.
