Job Description
Do you want to establish data as a strategic success factor in the company? In this role, you will shape company-wide Enterprise Data Management, connect business units, organization, and IT, and create viable data governance structures. Become part of our team and apply now for our locations in Hamburg, Berlin, Leipzig, Cologne, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Stuttgart, or Munich.
- Build and further develop holistic Enterprise Data Management
- Design and establish roles, committees, and processes for Data Governance
- Develop and maintain policies, standards, and methods for handling company data
- Advise business units on data management, Data Governance, and data ownership
- Implement and further develop Microsoft Purview for data catalog, metadata, data quality, and governance
- Define data quality standards and KPIs, and design workshops, training, and awareness formats
Qualifications
- Completed degree in Business Informatics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or a comparable field of study
- At least five years of relevant professional experience in Data Governance, Enterprise Data Management, Business Intelligence, Analytics, or Information Management
- Practical experience with Data Governance and data management tools, ideally Microsoft Purview, Collibra, Talend, Informatica, or comparable solutions
- In-depth knowledge of data quality, master data, metadata, data ownership, role models, and governance processes, and understanding of modern data architectures, data modeling, Business Intelligence, and Analytics, as well as basic knowledge of SQL and data analysis
- Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented approach to work, as well as confident communication and moderation skills for various target groups
- Fluent German and English skills
- Knowledge of KPIs, process management, data protection, information security, and compliance; DAMA-DMBOK or DCAM a plus
