Job Description
Shape the IT cloud infrastructure of tomorrow! As a Cloud Administrator/Cloud Engineer (w/m/d), you will play a central role in the development and operation of modern cloud solutions. You will also be responsible for the further development and operation of server, storage, and backup environments. You will work on hybrid and multi-cloud environments, ensuring that our IT solutions remain innovative, secure, and future-oriented. - Develop and operate modern cloud infrastructures (e.g., Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform) as well as hybrid IT landscapes
- Administer and further develop server, storage, and backup environments
- Ensure availability, performance, and security of the cloud infrastructure through monitoring and optimization
- Integrate and operate cloud solutions in existing on-premises and Microsoft environments (e.g., Azure, Entra ID, Microsoft 365)
- Automate deployments, backups, and infrastructure processes using Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform/OpenTofu, Ansible, PowerShell)
- Perform updates, patches, error analysis, and troubleshooting in the cloud environment
- Plan, implement, and optimize cloud solutions within the scope of demanding IT projects, especially for migrations, modernizations, and infrastructure expansions in interdisciplinary teams as well as with clients in external projects
- Create, maintain, and further develop technical documentation, and ensure compliance with and further development of cloud policies
Qualifications
- Completed degree or training in computer science or a comparable qualification
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience with cloud technologies
- In-depth knowledge in the administration of cloud infrastructures (Azure, AWS, GCP) and virtualization, as well as good PowerShell skills
- Experience in integrating cloud and on-premises solutions, as well as in administering Windows and Linux servers
- Very good German and English language skills
- Knowledge of automation tools and Infrastructure as Code is a plus
