Job Description
- You are responsible for the administration and smooth operation of Linux environments in the SAP context.
- You optimize and automate recurring tasks using common tools such as Ansible to increase the efficiency and stability of the IT infrastructure.
- Additionally, you perform detailed system performance analyses and serve as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting any issues that arise.
- Your expertise is required: you actively participate in the selection of new IT systems and the development of IT strategies to support the company's technological direction.
Qualifications
- You have completed vocational training as an IT specialist, hold a degree in computer science, or possess a comparable qualification.
- Furthermore, you bring at least 2 years of experience in the administration of Linux servers and are proficient in working with such systems.
- You possess very good German and good English skills, enabling you to communicate effectively in international teams.
- Initial experience in web hosting is an advantage but not strictly required.
- Ideally, you already have knowledge in automation, e.g., with Puppet or in the implementation of CI/CD processes.
