Job Description
As a Global Process Intelligence Architect - Celonis (m/f/d), you will take on a central, key technical role in our digital transformation. The focus is on building, further developing, and operating a scalable process intelligence landscape. You will be responsible for the entire technical implementation—from connecting and preparing process data, through data modeling and development in Celonis, to implementing automations and productive deployment. By combining technical excellence, process understanding, and analytical depth, you will create the foundation for transparent, efficient, and continuously improved business processes.
- End-to-end technical responsibility for the architecture, further development, and scaling of our global Celonis and process intelligence landscape
- Development and implementation of scalable Celonis solutions for core Döhler processes such as Source-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Plan-to-Produce, Supply Chain, Finance, Manufacturing, and Logistics
- Conceptualization and implementation of the technical solution chain—from data extraction, data integration, and event log design to data modeling and PQL development, through to productive deployment
- Development of complex analyses and applications using Celonis EMS, PQL, Process Analytics, Conformance Checking, KPI models, dashboards, Action Flows, and automation
- Integration and harmonization of process data from SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, as well as other ERP, CRM, production, logistics, and enterprise systems
- Development of robust, maintainable, and reusable data models, analysis components, and process intelligence products for global use
- Analysis of data quality, process variants, system breaks, and technical dependencies, as well as the development of appropriate solution and improvement measures
- Definition and implementation of standards for solution design, platform architecture, data governance, data quality, deployment, and lifecycle management
- Technical consulting and close collaboration with IT, Data & Analytics, process owners, data engineers, developers, and business departments, as well as professional coaching of internal Celonis experts
Qualifications
- Several years of sound practical experience in the technical implementation of Celonis, process mining, and process intelligence solutions in complex international corporate structures
- Proven end-to-end expertise from data extraction and system connection through data modeling and development to testing, deployment, operation, scaling, and continuous optimization
- Very good knowledge of the Celonis platform, particularly in Celonis EMS, PQL, event log design, data modeling, data integration, Process Analytics, Conformance Checking, Action Flows, and automation
- Very good understanding of ERP and enterprise architectures as well as comprehensive experience with SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA; knowledge of SAP Signavio and SAP Ariba is an advantage
- Very good knowledge of SQL, APIs, data integration, and ETL concepts, as well as confident handling of complex data structures and cross-system dependencies
- Experience with relevant technologies such as Python, cloud data platforms, Power BI, or comparable analytics and integration solutions
- Sound knowledge of several end-to-end processes, preferably in procurement, finance, order management, supply chain, manufacturing, or logistics
- Strong competence in solution design, platform governance, data quality, master data management, testing, and technical lifecycle management
- Principal-level personality with high technical independence, analytical depth, conceptual strength, and a strong focus on implementation; very good German and English skills, and ideally a Celonis certification
