The Information and Technology Services department manages and organizes all IT services for DKMS worldwide. For a modern and service-oriented organization like DKMS, data security and the use of state-of-the-art technologies are of central importance.
The Workplace Management Team is responsible for providing a reliable and secure IT work environment. This includes end-user support as well as the management of our external service desk.

IT Onsite Support Engineer (f/m/d) (Full-time)

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitoring the system status of workstations and IT components close to workstations (e.g., printers or conference rooms) at all locations, and resolving occurring errors and disruptions on-site or via remote maintenance
- Processing disruptions and service requests, and escalating to downstream support units or service partners as needed
- Procurement, setup, documentation, management, and disposal of IT equipment
- Software-based installation of operating systems and software packages on end devices
- Provision of (mobile) end devices and creation and updating of documentation
- Administration and troubleshooting of Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, Windows Print Server, Citrix, and our Cisco telecommunication solutions
OUR REQUIREMENTS
- Completed, relevant vocational training or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in technical customer service or IT support
- Broad expertise in hardware, network technologies, operating systems, and applications
- Strong customer-oriented approach and target group-oriented communication skills
- High sense of responsibility, hands-on mentality, and friendly demeanor
- Team player, flexible, and organized
- Fluent German and very good English skills
- Intercultural experience is an advantage
