Job Description
- Monitoring regulatory developments in the telecommunications sector: With your eye for new requirements, you identify areas for action and contribute them in a structured manner
- Integration of telecommunications and KRITIS-specific security requirements into the ISMS: You ensure that regulatory requirements from TKG, BSIG, KRITIS, and NIS2 are translated understandably into the company's security framework and sustainably anchored.
- Consulting network, engineering, and operations teams on security requirements: You translate regulatory and technical requirements into practical measures, thereby strengthening the security of critical telecommunications infrastructure.
- Evaluation of security measures in telecommunications networks and ICT platforms: From the perspective of the Second Line of Defense, you examine the effectiveness of existing controls in network, OSS/BSS, and platform environments.
- Support in evaluating information security risks in critical infrastructures: Through your analyses, you create transparency about risks in telecommunications networks and contribute to well-founded decisions in Information Risk Management.
- Participation in audits, KRITIS compliance assessments, and regulatory reviews: In close cooperation with internal and external stakeholders, you support the preparation and successful execution of reviews.
Qualifications
- Completed degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a comparable qualification.
- Practical experience in Cybersecurity, Information Security, and regulatory requirements in the KRITIS and telecommunications environment (e.g., TKG, BSIG, KRITIS Ordinance, NIS2)
- Experience in evaluating security controls from a Second Line of Defense perspective, ideally related to network, OSS/BSS, or platform environments.
- Ability to independently monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on the company.
- Proficiency in conducting information security risk analyses and deriving risk-based measures.
- Familiarity with the preparation and support of audits, certifications, or regulatory reviews.
- Communication talent with solution-oriented thinking and the ability to tackle tasks efficiently, thereby driving progress.
