Job Description
- Backlog Management: You ensure transparent requirements and a consistent focus on business value through the structured management and prioritization of the ServiceNow product backlog.
- Requirements Management: With your understanding of network planning, rollout, fulfillment, and assurance, you translate business requirements into clearly defined and prioritized epics, features, and user stories.
- Data Modeling: By ensuring consistent data models and clear data ownership, you create a reliable foundation for high-quality network, resource, topology, and geospatial data.
- Product Optimization: You continuously develop ServiceNow functionalities and, together with relevant interfaces, ensure high data quality as well as reliable integration with the IQGeo GIS system.
- Product Vision and Roadmap: Based on your professional expertise, you help shape the product vision and roadmap and drive the further development of network inventory and resource management solutions in ServiceNow and IQGeo.
- Agile Product Development: In close collaboration with development teams, you support sprint planning, backlog refinements, and reviews, ensuring the targeted implementation of product requirements.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Through close alignment with Enterprise Architecture, business departments, and development teams, you consolidate diverse requirements and ensure the consistent development of the product landscape.
Qualifications
- Completed degree in (Business) Informatics or a comparable field
- Several years of professional experience as a Product Owner, ideally with sound experience in ServiceNow-supported process landscapes
- Strong ability to define, structure, prioritize, and manage complex requirements and product backlogs
- Very good communication and coordination skills as well as experience with agile methods such as Scrum or SAFe
- Sound knowledge of ServiceNow, particularly in the CMDB, TNI, ITOM, HAM, SAM, or PPM modules
- An initiator who plans tasks, projects, and resources efficiently and realistically, with a willingness for cross-departmental exchange
- Very good German and English language skills
- Experience with the IQGeo GIS system as well as knowledge of the telecommunications industry and ITIL-based processes is a plus
- Knowledge of relevant ServiceNow certifications, for example CIS-CMDB, CIS-ITOM, or CIS-HAM/SAM, is a plus
