The SAP Sales and Distribution Functional Analyst is a global role responsible for daily support of SAP S4 Sales and Distribution and related modules. In this role, you will analyze and resolve user incidents that occur in the production environment. Responsibilities include configuring and maintaining the SAP Sales and Distribution module and related modules, as well as working in conjunction with Global Process Managers, Business Process Leads, the ABAP team, and other members of the ERP community.

Key Responsibilities
ERP Sales and Distribution Functional Specialist
- Provides excellent functional support, training, and troubleshooting to end users of SAP SD and related modules globally
- Acts as the interface between the end-user community and the development team to resolve issues
- Maintains a clear understanding of related business processes
- Collaborates with key stakeholders and users to gather business requirements, analyze current processes, and identify optimization opportunities
- Prepares detailed functional specifications for developments
- Works closely with the extended ERP team to test and deploy solutions
- Maintains complete and up-to-date documentation of all configurations and processes
- Develops test scripts, performs rigorous unit testing, and coordinates User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure the integrity and quality of solutions
- Collaborates and shares knowledge with the extended ERP team
- Complies with global corporate IT compliance practices
Competencies, Skills, and Experience
Functional Expertise
- Deep knowledge of SAP Sales and Distribution business processes
- Mastery in configuring the SAP SD module
- Understanding of integration points with other SAP modules (FI, MM, among others)
- Experience in end-to-end SAP implementations
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Experience interfacing with ABAP/Technical teams, translating user requirements into actionable development tasks
- Collaboration with support team members on technical issues

Typical Profile
- Academic Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology)
Languages
- Advanced English (C1); other languages are a plus
Experience Duration and Type
- From 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Experience with SAP SD or related modules

- SAP SD certification or other certification is desirable
