We are looking for a Backend Developer with at least 4 years of experience in backend development, with solid software engineering foundations and experience working with technologies such as Node.js, C#, Python, and Microsoft Azure.
The role will focus on the development and maintenance of backend solutions, including APIs, microservices, SQL databases, and integrations, also participating in CI/CD processes and both cloud and on-premises environments.
We are looking for someone with the ability to understand technical requirements, solve problems in a structured manner, and collaborate with different team members to build maintainable, secure, and quality solutions.

Requirements
Main responsibilities and functions
- Develop, maintain, and improve backend services and applications.
- Design, implement, and maintain APIs and integrations between systems.
- Participate in the development of solutions using Node.js, C#, and/or Python.
- Work with microservices-based architectures.
- Implement and maintain integrations with relational databases.
- Work with services and infrastructure in Microsoft Azure, as well as on-premises environments.
- Participate in the development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines.
- Utilize Azure DevOps and Git as part of the development and deployment cycle.
- Apply object-oriented programming principles, SOLID, and good software engineering practices.
- Incorporate security practices during the development cycle, considering DevSecOps principles.
- Participate in code reviews, incident resolution, and continuous improvement of solutions.
- Collaborate with other technical and business profiles to understand requirements and translate them into functional solutions.
Minimum requirements
Desired profile
- 4+ years of professional experience as a Backend Developer or in similar positions.
- Hands-on experience in backend development using JavaScript/Node.js and/or C#/.NET.
- Experience in design, development, and implementation of APIs.
- Knowledge and experience working with microservices architectures.
- Experience with at least one public cloud (Azure, AWS, or GCP); specific experience in Azure is strongly valued.
- Experience with SQL databases such as SQL Server and/or PostgreSQL.
- Experience using Git and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps is a plus).
- Solid knowledge of object-oriented programming and SOLID principles.
- Knowledge of DevSecOps and security practices applied to software development.
- Analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and collaboration skills; ability to work autonomously within multidisciplinary teams.
- Intermediate or advanced English
- Residency in Mexico and availability to work 100% remotely.
Desirable (not exclusionary)
- Experience with Python.
- Experience in on-premises environments in addition to cloud.
