Reporting to the General Manager, the Director, Technology and Business Systems plays a strategic role in the evolution of the technological environment at Corner Collection. They ensure the reliability, security, and performance of the systems supporting the operations of our hotels, restaurants, and corporate functions. Working closely with establishment management, corporate teams, and external partners, they define technological priorities, lead projects from conception to adoption, optimize business processes, and ensure the quality of daily support, all while contributing to operational efficiency and the organization's growth.

YOUR ROLE IS CRUCIAL

STRATEGY AND LEADERSHIP

  1. Define the technology roadmap. Establish an annual plan and multi-year priorities; recommend solutions to retain, integrate, simplify, automate, or replace based on their value, costs, and risks.
  1. Mobilize resources. Supervise and develop the internal resource dedicated to systems, coordinate specialized partners, and advance super-users, without unnecessarily multiplying tools or stakeholders.
  1. Act as an operations partner. Collaborate with general management and the Finance, Talent and Culture, and Sales and Marketing teams to prioritize needs, clarify responsibilities, and support change.

TECHNOLOGICAL INFRASTRUCTURE AND OPERATIONS

  1. Oversee IT infrastructure. Manage the design, implementation, operation, and evolution of cloud environments, local servers, networks, telecommunications, and computer equipment with specialized partners.
  1. Ensure performance and scalability. Define availability, capacity, and infrastructure performance standards to support multi-site operations, teams, and the growth of Corner Collection.
  1. Establish policies and standards. Define, document, and enforce IT policies, procedures, and standards, particularly for configurations, equipment, changes, and technical documentation.

SERVICE MANAGEMENT AND BUSINESS SYSTEMS

  1. Structure IT service management. Oversee support requests, incidents, changes, and recurring problems; define service levels, escalations, responsibilities, and coverage adapted to operating hours, clearly distributing responsibilities between internal resources and external partners.
  1. Govern applications and integrations. Supervise business systems, their configurations, and interconnections; ensure follow-up until resolution and maintain reliable documentation.

DATA GOVERNANCE AND RISK MANAGEMENT

  1. Strengthen data reliability. Map critical flows, define reference sources and responsibilities with management, secure interfaces, and reduce errors, inconsistencies, and duplicate entries. Departments remain responsible for the quality of data related to their activities.
  1. Drive technological risks. Identify, assess, and prioritize risks related to systems, vendors, access, and data; maintain a risk register, control measures, and corrective plans, with follow-up to management.
  1. Protect information and systems. Oversee identities, privileged access, vulnerabilities, and technical controls related to sensitive information and payments, with the relevant stakeholders.
  1. Ensure business continuity. Maintain and test backups, recovery plans, and incident response; document critical systems, dependencies, and recovery procedures to limit interruptions.

PROJECTS AND TRANSFORMATION

  1. Deliver technology projects. Lead implementations, migrations, and integrations, as well as needs related to renovations, openings, and acquisitions, from initial requirements to testing, training, and transfer to support.
  1. Assume delivery results. Remain responsible for technical operation, even when execution is entrusted to a vendor; define acceptance criteria with teams and measure actual adoption.
  1. Coordinate building technologies. Take charge of networks, Wi-Fi, telephony, TV platforms, and digital connections, in coordination with the Building management for installations and local interventions.
  1. Simplify and foster adoption. Work with teams to eliminate irritants, reduce manual tasks, and deploy automations or relevant uses of artificial intelligence, with measurable results.

BUDGETS AND PARTNERSHIPS

  1. Manage investments and vendors. Prepare budgets, track licenses, contracts, and service costs, evaluate partner performance, and recommend investments whose benefits can be verified.
