Your Responsibilities
As a Solution Manager m/f/d, you will be technically and commercially responsible as a Product and Portfolio Manager (m/f/d) for the product and service portfolio in the Data Center & Edge Platforms area.
Your responsibilities include:
- Interface function between Solution Management, Portfolio Development, and Business Development.
- Responsibility for the strategic development and definition of datacenter solutions on topics such as Automation & Orchestration, Platform Engineering, Virtualization, Containers, Open Source, and Sovereignty in close collaboration with relevant manufacturers.
- Design, development, and implementation of a go-to-market strategy for the area of responsibility, to improve our customers' business activities through the targeted use of defined solutions and innovations.
- Innovation of the portfolio under responsibility along technological developments, such as Hybrid IT and Edge & Distributed Computing, customer requirements, and market changes.
- Ensuring service delivery capability through internal and external delivery units to achieve high quality in project execution.
- In collaboration with the account teams, you will identify profitable business opportunities for Computacenter, especially for the solution portfolio under your responsibility.
Your Profile
- Completed degree or comparable qualification, as well as extensive project and consulting experience in the data center environment.
- At least 8 – 10 years of experience in consulting and presales – especially around Data Center Orchestration & Automation, virtualization technologies, Open Source, and container technologies.
- Innovation-oriented and close to technological developments.
- Strengths in translating technical customer requirements into a scalable product and service portfolio from external and internal suppliers.
- You master rhetoric and presentation techniques to deliver a confident and trustworthy performance as a solution partner in escalation and conflict management with manufacturers and customers.
- Thought leader in the mentioned technological topics and business context.
- You combine technological expertise with strong entrepreneurial thinking.
- Convincing communication skills in German and English.
