We are looking for a hands-on Principal AI Platform Engineer to lead the construction, deployment, and evolution of the Agentic SDLC platform. The professional will be the main technical reference for the initiative, responsible for architecting the AI model access layer—including the operation of LiteLLM as an AI Gateway—and ensuring the delivery of the solution in production by leading a team.

Responsibilities
- Architect, implement, and operate LiteLLM as a centralized AI Gateway for Foundation Models.
- Configure authentication, authorization, IAM, secrets management, quotas, rate limiting, routing, and fallbacks.
- Design and maintain the infrastructure on AWS with a focus on high availability, security, scalability, and resilience.
- Implement full observability (tokens, costs, latency, errors, tracing) and FinOps indicators.
- Build and integrate MCP Servers, agents, skills, plugins, and development tools (e.g., Jira, Git, Playwright).
- Establish guardrails, security policies, auditing, and governance for the use of AI.
- Develop and evolve a reusable catalog of agentic artifacts and prompts.
- Collaborate with Architecture, Security, Cloud, and DevOps, acting as a technical reference and supporting teams in the adoption of the new model.
Requirements
- Principal/Specialist level experience in Software, Platform, or Cloud Engineering.
- Solid and practical experience with AWS, cloud architecture, and automation/IaC.
- Mastery of development in Python, Java, and/or Node.js.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes/EKS, microservices, and distributed systems.
- Solid knowledge of APIs, Gateways, networking, CI/CD, and observability.
- Strong troubleshooting skills, end-to-end autonomy (from architecture to production), and clear communication.
Preferred Qualifications
- LiteLLM, Amazon Bedrock, Anthropic/Claude, Claude Code, Kiro.
- Model Context Protocol (MCP) and multi-agent system development.
- FinOps for GenAI, OpenTelemetry, guardrails, and AI security.
- Internal Developer Platforms (IDP) and Golden Paths.
