Responsibilities

  1. Act in the development and maintenance of data solutions using the Databricks platform.
  1. Implement and sustain the Medallion Architecture, organizing data in the Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers, ensuring quality, traceability, and governance.
  1. Build and evolve Data Products, from ingestion to availability for analytical and business consumption.
  1. Work within the Data Mesh concept, promoting responsible decentralization, data ownership, and collaboration between areas.
  1. Develop efficient, scalable, and performant data pipelines.
  1. Perform data transformations, validations, and modeling for different analytical use cases.
  1. Support business and analytical teams in data consumption, ensuring reliability and clarity of information.
  1. Document solutions, pipelines, and data products clearly and in a standardized manner.
  1. Act in identifying continuous improvements in performance, costs, and data quality.

Minimum requirements

Technical Requirements

  1. Hands-on experience with Databricks.
  1. Solid knowledge of Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers).
  1. Experience in building Data Products.
  1. Knowledge of Data Mesh and its principles (domains, ownership, and federated governance).
  1. Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and transformation.
  1. Experience with PySpark for distributed data processing.
