About the opportunity
Our Core Platforms Engineering area
This area is responsible for developing, operating, and evolving the technological platforms that support a bank's critical systems. It works to ensure the security, availability, scalability, and performance of the infrastructure, in addition to providing cloud solutions, automation, observability, networking, data platforms, and tools for development teams.
Your activities as a CSixer
- Lead the full software development lifecycle from conception to deployment in staging and production environments, with a focus on robust, secure, and continuous delivery.
- Act as a technical reference within the squad, ensuring the quality, performance, and resilience of services related to financial transactions.
- Mentor and develop engineers within the squad, raising the team's seniority.
- Drive architecture and engineering decisions, deeply understanding technical trade-offs and guiding the team in choosing scalable and secure solutions.
- Promote development excellence with advanced practices such as TDD/BDD, code reviews, clean code, DDD, and high automated test coverage.
- Actively participate in supporting systems in production, focusing on observability, monitoring, and rapid response to mission-critical incidents.
- Collaborate with business, product, and technology areas, contributing a strategic technical vision for the evolution of the user journey at the bank.
Minimum requirements
Requirements and Experience
- Mastery of languages such as Kotlin or Java with solid experience in frameworks such as Spring Boot.
- Proficiency in microservices architecture, including communication patterns, resilience, APIs versioning, and continuous deployment.
- In-depth experience with test automation, including unit, integration, and contract testing, ensuring high coverage and confidence in deliveries.
- Mastery of relational and non-relational databases, especially PostgreSQL and MongoDB, with a focus on performance and consistency.
- Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka, SQS, and SNS, applying large-scale asynchronous communication patterns.
- Advanced familiarity with observability standards, including metrics, structured logs, and distributed tracing.
- Practical experience in Cloud environments (preferably AWS) using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Solid understanding of security protocols, authentication/authorization (JWT, OAuth2), encryption, and secure development practices.
- Experience working in agile environments with a focus on frequent deliveries, metrics, and DevOps culture.
- Desirable experience with credit products or financial products.
