About the opportunity
Our Technology Platform Engineering Area
The Technology Platform Engineering area is responsible for building and evolving the platforms, internal products, and shared capabilities that accelerate software development across the organization. We work transversally with the Engineering, Developer Experience, SRE Experience, Cloud Engineering, FinOps, Security, and Architecture teams, creating scalable, secure, and standardized solutions that enable the delivery of products with quality and speed. We are expanding our scope to the Artificial Intelligence universe, structuring the capabilities, standards, and platforms that will allow the secure, efficient, and scalable adoption of AI by all the bank's engineering.
Your Activities as a CSixer
- Ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of C6 Bank's API Gateway platform;
- Evolve and govern the API Gateway platform, defining usage standards, policies, and best practices for consumer teams;
- Design and implement automations and internal tools that simplify onboarding and the daily lives of teams publishing and consuming APIs;
- Build and maintain observability metrics, indicators, and dashboards (metrics, logs, and traces) for monitoring the environment and APIs;
- Evolve and maintain CI/CD pipelines for provisioning and deploying the platform and gateway configurations;
- Manage the platform's Infrastructure as Code (IaC), ensuring consistency, traceability, and reproducibility of environments;
- Work with engineering teams to understand pain points and opportunities for improvement in the development experience and the lifecycle of APIs;
- Create and maintain clear, accessible, and up-to-date technical documentation for the team and platform users;
- Act in incident resolution, root cause analysis (RCA), and implementation of preventive actions.
Minimum requirements
Requirements and Experience
- Solid experience with Cloud environments, especially AWS and/or GCP;
- Advanced experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices;
- Solid experience with Kubernetes;
- Knowledge of Python for developing automations, internal tools, integrations, and optimizing operational processes;
- Experience in DevOps and CI/CD practices, with experience in building, maintaining, and evolving continuous delivery pipelines;
- Hands-on experience with API Gateway, including configuration, security, routing, and management of APIs;
- Knowledge of the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from conception and architecture to deployment, operation, and support;
- Experience with observability, monitoring, and troubleshooting tools and practices, including metrics, logs, and traces;
- Solid knowledge of Linux, with experience in administration, automation, and problem-solving in production environments;
- Ability to act collaboratively with Development, Architecture, and Platform teams, contributing to the evolution of the DevOps culture and operational efficiency.
Differentiators
- Experience with microservices architectures;
- Knowledge of GitOps (ArgoCD, Flux, or similar);
- Experience with observability tools such as Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, or Elastic;
- Knowledge of security in cloud environments and DevSecOps;
- AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, or Terraform certifications.
