1. Role Objective

Lead the strategic direction of corporate architecture, aligning business objectives with a scalable, modern, and sustainable technological ecosystem. This position requires a systemic vision, pragmatic judgment, and high executive influence to guide technological decision-making, rationalize the application portfolio, and consolidate the governance framework that enables the organization's digital transformation.

2. Key Responsibilities

  1. Strategy and Roadmaps: Define, maintain, and evolve current state (As-Is) and target state (To-Be) models across Business, Data, Applications, and Technology domains.
  1. Architecture Governance: Chair and structure the Technology and Architecture Review Committee, defining standards, reference patterns, and corporate policies for Solution Architecture teams.
  1. Application Portfolio Management (APM): Execute rationalization analyses to mitigate technical debt, identify redundancies, and prioritize modernization or decommissioning initiatives.
  1. Technical Oversight and Mentorship: Guide the design of highly complex solutions, ensuring compliance with corporate guidelines and mentoring delivery teams.
  1. Financial and Risk Assessment: Analyze technical investment alternatives and trade-offs considering Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), business value contribution, and strategic risk management.
  1. Innovation and Technological Intelligence: Evaluate the technical and functional viability of new technologies and platforms, ensuring their interoperability with existing enterprise capabilities.
  1. Executive Alignment and Narrative: Translate complex technological scenarios and concepts into business impact narratives to facilitate decision-making in Committees and C-Level leaders.

3. Profile Requirements

Non-Negotiable Requirements

  1. Experience: +10 years in the technology sector, with a minimum of 5 years in direct Enterprise Architecture or transversal architectural leadership roles.
  1. Governance and Strategic Frameworks: Mastery in establishing architecture committees, managing exceptions, and compliance frameworks.

Architecture Modeling

  1. Hands-on experience with TOGAF (ADM) and BIZBOK (business capability mapping).
  1. Proficiency in ArchiMate modeling (Strategy, Motivation, Business, Application, and Technology layers).
  1. EAM Tools: Experience with Enterprise Architecture Management platforms such as LeanIX, Bizzdesign, ServiceNow, or Archi.

Technical Specialization

  1. Application Portfolio Management (APM) and rationalization.
  1. Modern integration patterns (APIs and event-driven architectures).
  1. Cloud strategies, FinOps cost models, Zero Trust Security, and Data Governance.
  1. Stakeholder Management: Proven track record designing technology roadmaps aligned with strategic business plans and interacting directly with C-Level executives.

4. Education and Key Competencies

  1. Academic Background: Bachelor's degree or Engineering in Systems, Computer Science, or related fields.

Critical Skills and Competencies

  1. Systems Thinking: Ability to understand the organization as an interconnected ecosystem of processes, capabilities, and technology.
  1. Influence Leadership: Skill in gaining traction and consensus across multidisciplinary teams without formal authority.
  1. Executive Communication: High negotiation and synthesis ability with Business and IT directors and vice presidents.
  1. Operational Pragmatism: Balance between the ideal architecture vision (To-Be) and the real constraints of budget, time, and operations.

Desirable Requirements

  1. Official certification in TOGAF (v9 or v10) or ArchiMate Practitioner.
  1. Certification in SAFe (specifically Lean Portfolio Management - LPM).
  1. Experience in Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (CPG), Retail, or Manufacturing industries.
  1. Previous experience in legacy platform modernization projects (SAP environments or equivalent).
