Job Objective: Govern the end-to-end Systems Testing process, ensuring the quality, stability, and reliability of technological solutions. Specialized in Cobol technologies, Altamira: CICS, TSO, Control M. Host to Host systems.
Main Responsibilities
Testing Governance and Strategy
- Lead the comprehensive systems testing process for assigned requirements.
- Define and ensure the correct execution of the functional and non-functional testing strategy.
- Validate testing scope, ensuring coverage of critical business scenarios.
- Identify quality risks and define timely mitigation plans.
- Approve key testing artifacts (strategy, plan, estimates, results).
Management and Coordination
- Manage testing resources (internal team and vendors).
- Manage and track the testing budget.
- Coordinate with Development, PMO, ERN, User, and Business teams.
- Communicate progress, risks, and testing results to the corresponding stakeholders.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree or Engineering in Systems or related fields.
Experience
- 5+ years as a Senior Tester / QA Engineer, Testing Lead, or QA Lead.
- Experience in systems testing in complex environments.
- Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and external vendors.
Technical Knowledge
- Functional and non-functional testing.
- Knowledge of Cobol technologies, Altamira: CICS, TSO, Control M, DB2.
- Host to Host systems.
- Development methodologies: Waterfall / Agile / Scrum / DevOps.
- Testing and defect management tools (ALM, Jira, Zephyr, or others).
Key Skills
- Leadership and decision-making.

- Effective communication with technical and business teams.
- Results-oriented and continuous improvement.
- Governance and tracking capability.
Languages: Intermediate English
Availability: Not applicable for travel or relocation.
- Experience in the financial or highly regulated sector is desirable.
