What will your day-to-day look like?
As a Software Engineering Manager, you will work in the Checking Account Core area, and your main activities will be: ·
- Leading teams responsible for the Checking Account Core, a platform that supports fundamental bank capabilities such as balances, transactions, statements, limits, charges, financial events, and transactional processing. ·
- Driving the modernization of legacy systems and critical platforms without compromising availability, security, and customer experience. ·
- Using Artificial Intelligence as an accelerator for software engineering, increasing productivity, quality, and delivery speed. ·
- Developing a high-performance engineering organization capable of combining deep business knowledge with modern development practices. ·
- Training and developing leaders and engineers prepared for an AI-First engineering model. ·
- Leading the adoption of Artificial Intelligence throughout the software engineering lifecycle. ·
- Defining and tracking engineering performance metrics (DORA, Lead Time, Throughput, Availability, and Reliability). ·
- Ensuring modern practices of DevSecOps, CI/CD, automated testing, and observability.

Requirements ·
- Consolidated experience in managing Software Engineering teams. ·
- Proven track record leading multiple teams or squads. ·
- Experience in technological modernization and digital transformation programs. ·
- Experience in mission-critical and high-scale environments. ·
- Experience in leading Artificial Intelligence initiatives applied to engineering or products. ·
- Distributed systems architecture, modern data architectures. ·
- Microservices, APIs and Event-Driven Architecture, Cloud Computing (Azure, AWS or GCP), DevOps, DevSecOps and Observability. ·
- Generative Artificial Intelligence, LLMs, Copilots, Agents and RAG, AI Governance, and corporate best practices.
It will be a plus if you have: ·
- Experience in the financial sector or highly regulated environments. ·
- Desirable experience in Mainframe and Core Banking environments, understanding the challenges of modernizing legacy platforms, integration between distributed ecosystems, and high-criticality transactional processing. ·
- MBA or Postgraduate degree in Management, Technology, or Business. ·
- Certifications in Cloud, AI, Architecture, or Agile Leadership.
