Working Student IT & Product Operations (m/f/d)

What are your responsibilities?

Digital products only function really well when data is reliably transferred between different systems, technical workflows operate smoothly, and issues are identified and resolved quickly. That is exactly where you come in.

As a working student in Product Operations, you will work at the intersection of product, technology, customer support, and external partners. Together with our Product Operations Manager, you will ensure that technical integrations work, errors are analyzed in a structured manner, and our processes are continuously improved.

You do not need to be a tech expert yet. We will show you step-by-step what you need to know for your tasks.

  1. You will support us in setting up and maintaining technical integrations and accompany them from the initial check to the live launch.
  1. You will verify that data and information are reliably transferred between different systems and support quality assurance.
  1. You will test new integrations and features, document your results, and work with us to systematically get to the bottom of potential error causes.
  1. For technical inquiries from customers, partners, and internal teams, you will assist in narrowing down issues and gathering the correct information.
  1. You will work with tools such as Jira and Confluence, and gain insights into topics like APIs as well as data formats like JSON and XML.
  1. You will keep manuals and process descriptions understandable and up-to-date, and help us standardize, simplify, or automate recurring workflows.

What do you bring to the table?

It is most important to us that you are curious and eager to familiarize yourself with technical contexts. You do not need to have prior knowledge of interfaces or APIs from your studies.

  1. You are currently enrolled at a college or university, ideally in a degree program with a technical or business focus. Other degree programs are just as welcome if you have an interest in technical topics.
  1. You find digital products and technical processes exciting and want to understand how different systems communicate with each other.
  1. You work in a structured, reliable, and diligent manner and maintain an overview even when multiple steps or systems interact.
  1. You enjoy getting to the bottom of problems and have fun systematically narrowing down errors and finding solutions together.
  1. You quickly find your way around new tools and topics and are eager to acquire technical know-how step-by-step.
  1. You communicate confidently in German (at least C1 level) and can also communicate in English.

Nice to have, but not a must

Have you already had initial contact with Jira, Confluence, APIs, JSON, XML, technical interfaces, or automations? Great! If not, that is explicitly not an exclusion criterion. Your motivation, willingness to learn, and interest in the topics are much more important to us.
