About the Opportunity
- Operate, monitor, and optimize the AHS from the Control Room, managing routes, dynamic paths, and exclusion zones.
- Monitor fleet performance, analyze telemetry data and system metrics to identify bottlenecks, and optimize haulage cycle performance.
- Assist with software troubleshooting and network configuration routines, communicating directly with engineering.
- Prepare detailed technical reports on system performance, operational incidents, and data integrity.
- Assist the development and performance team in identifying bugs, proposing improvements, and workarounds.
- Develop and maintain complete, up-to-date technical documentation (procedures) regarding AHS operation on-site.
- Strictly follow safety protocols (Stop Work Authority), contributing to the maintenance of a safe, zero-risk work environment.
- Work on-site in a mining environment, with availability to work in shifts (schedule to be defined for 24/7 coverage).

- Technical or Bachelor's degree in fields related to Mining, Electrical, Automation, Computer Science, Electronics, or similar.
- Previous experience in at least one of the following domains: mine operation, mine planning, dispatch systems, or autonomous haulage systems (AHS).
- In-depth knowledge of technology project implementation (Automation, IT, Instrumentation, etc.).
- Reside in or have availability to relocate to Curionópolis or Parauapebas (PA).
- Valid category B driver's license.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and proficiency with operating systems/terminals (Linux).
Preferred Qualifications (Not mandatory, but valued)
- Familiarity with industrial wireless network architectures (LTE, Starlink, RTK).
- Previous experience with embedded systems applied to mining.
- Advanced English for frequent communication with international teams (USA).
- Experience with the maintenance of electronic systems, instrumentation, or telemetry in heavy or industrial machinery.
What else you need to know
The position will be based in the Parauapebas region, to work directly at a large-scale mine. Due to the highly versatile nature of the role, the professional will navigate all project environments: offices, maintenance workshops, control rooms, and field operations.
