You will be part of our Data team, taking on a leading and strategic role in our information architecture. As a Senior Analytics Engineer, you will be the technical reference in defining standards, structuring complex models by cross-referencing multiple domains, and evolving our analytical platform. You will work very closely with Business, Product, and Technology leadership, ensuring scalability, governance, and efficiency in our decision-making.

👉 WHAT WILL BE YOUR CHALLENGES WITH US?
- Design and architect highly complex analytical models that integrate multiple business domains, establishing technical guidelines, modeling standards, and technical documentation.
- Act as a technical reference for the team, promoting rigorous code reviews, mentoring junior/mid-level engineers, and disseminating best practices in Analytics Engineering.
- Act as a strategic partner to directors and product/business managers, translating major operational and strategic challenges into robust analytical architectures (KPIs, OKRs, and complex business rules).
- Design high-performance and scalable dbt transformation architectures, ensuring efficient integration with orchestrators (Airflow/Dataform) and optimizing costs and processing consumption in the Data Warehouse.
- Collaborate with the Data Platform team on data governance at the source, platform architecture, and end-to-end reliability.
👉 WHAT WE EXPECT YOU TO HAVE
- Expert proficiency in SQL, including fine-tuning performance, query tuning, and cost management with large data volumes.
- Solid experience in complex dimensional architectures (Star Schema, Snowflake, Entity-based modeling) and practical insight into modern approaches (Data Mesh, Data Marts, Data Warehouse).
- Extensive practical experience with dbt (package management, macros, advanced tests, and CI/CD) and workflow orchestration (Airflow, Dataform, or Prefect).
- Complete proficiency in version control with Git, CI/CD workflows for data, and automated testing practices.
- Ability to lead the adoption and critical use of AI tools within the team for gains in scale, quality, and operational efficiency.
- Excellent negotiation skills, ease in transitioning between deep technical discussions and executive alignments, as well as a history of team mentoring.
IT WILL BE A DIFFERENTIAL IF YOU HAVE
- Experience with cloud Data Warehouse environments, such as Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or Databricks;
- Practical knowledge of modern architectures for analytical purposes, including Data Mart, Data Lake, Data Warehouse, or Data Mesh;
- Familiarity with creating and consuming data visualization tools (Looker, Metabase, Power BI, among others)
- History of leadership in defining technical standards, experience structuring complex analytical models that cross multiple domains, and the ability to act as a technical reference, supporting and mentoring other engineers.
