JOB: IT INFRASTRUCTURE ANALYST PL - SERVERS AND VIRTUALIZATION
Location: Belo Horizonte
Main Responsibilities
- Administer Microsoft Windows Server environments, performing installation, configuration, maintenance, updates, patching, and platform support.
- Administer and operate virtualized environments using VMware vSphere, including host, cluster, virtual machine, capacity, and performance management.
- Administer Storage solutions, performing provisioning, capacity expansion, monitoring, performance analysis, and troubleshooting activities.
- Operate and evolve the Microsoft SCOM (System Center Operations Manager) monitoring platform, implementing rules, dashboards, alerts, and infrastructure and application monitoring.
- Monitor the health of server, virtualization, and storage environments, identifying risks and opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Perform performance analysis, troubleshooting, and incident resolution in critical environments.
- Ensure compliance with security standards, governance, change management, and documentation of the environments under your responsibility.
Requirements
- Solid experience in IT infrastructure administration.
- Experience with Microsoft Windows Server.
- Knowledge and experience in VMware vSphere virtualization.
- Experience with Storage administration.
- Knowledge of monitoring tools, preferably Microsoft SCOM.
- Experience with troubleshooting, performance analysis, and incident management.
- Knowledge of backup processes, environment recovery, and business continuity.
- Intermediate English.
- Completed university degree.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with hybrid and Cloud environments (Microsoft Azure).
- Knowledge of automation using PowerShell or Ansible.
- Experience with high availability, clustering, and disaster recovery technologies.
- Knowledge of the Microsoft System Center Suite (SCOM, SCCM, and SCOM Management Packs).
- Certifications from Microsoft, VMware, or Storage manufacturers (Dell EMC, NetApp, HPE, Pure Storage, or similar).
