Your Responsibilities
- Development and further development of innovative electronic products and embedded systems
- System design and derivation of technical solutions from customer requirements
- Hardware design: Development of mixed-signal circuits with Altium Designer
- Development of firmware and embedded software in C/C++ and Rust
- Development of production, testing, and automation tools
- Commissioning, debugging, and troubleshooting at the board level
- Execution of functional validations at the hardware, firmware, and system level
- Creation of test strategies, test concepts, and test plans

What you bring to the table
Hardware Development
- In-depth experience in circuit design and layouting/routing (must-have)
- Knowledge of analog, mixed-signal, and ideally RF circuit technology
- Experience in commissioning and troubleshooting electronic assemblies
- Proficient use of measuring equipment and instruments (e.g., oscilloscope, multimeter, signal generator, spectrum analyzer)
- Practical experience with soldering, rework, and circuit modifications
Firmware and Embedded Development
- Very good knowledge of C/C++ (must-have)
- Experience in developing embedded and real-time systems
- Experience with module, unit, and integration tests
Software and Tool Development
- Good knowledge of Python
- Experience in developing production, testing, or automation tools
What else you should bring
- Strong system understanding across hardware, firmware, and software
- Ability to understand customer requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Experience in developing customer-oriented device and system solutions
- Independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working
- Enjoyment of teamwork and professional exchange with colleagues
- Interest in new technologies and modern development methods
- Experience in creating test strategies and test plans is advantageous
- Knowledge of RTOS is advantageous
- Experience with OTA (Over-the-Air) updates is desirable
- Knowledge of Rust is a plus
- Knowledge of .NET / C# is advantageous
- Initial experience with modern Frontend technologies such as Vue.js or React is welcome
- Initial experience with regulatory requirements such as the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) is advantageous
- Knowledge in the area of product qualification, verification, and certification is desirable
