Retail and Marcom Engineering, an IS&T team, builds and operates the systems and experiences that connect Apple's products with its customers. The team owns the technology behind both Apple's online and physical stores and drives the interactive marketing experiences and tools that keep creative operations moving. Together, those functions deliver the technology behind every product story Apple tells and every purchase a customer makes.

Our Operations Team, part of the CS&E organization, plays a critical role in ensuring the stability, reliability, and performance of multiple customer-facing applications that serve millions of users across diverse services. We specialize in sustaining and optimizing our systems, driving operational excellence through automation, cloud infrastructure management, and proactive monitoring. Our team thrives on solving challenging problems about Traffic, Deployments, DDOS, WAF, enhancing system resilience, and enabling seamless experiences for our customers. By collaborating closely with development, security, and business teams, we ensure that every application we manage meets Apple's standards of Site Reliability and Security. We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer who is passionate about operational excellence through automation and engineering processes. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless integration of development and operations processes to deliver best-in-class and highly available systems. Your expertise in cloud platforms, automation, and infrastructure management will be vital to the success of our projects.

5 years of experience as a Ops/SRE Engineer or in a similar role. Proficiency with Cloud Fleet deployment strategies using as Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, or equivalent with knowledge on Helm, Terraform and Ansible. Experience in programming and scripting skills with languages such as Bash, Python, Node, or Java. Proficiency in CI/CD using Jenkins, GitHub, with observability technologies such as Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, or similar. Bachelors Degree in CS or equivalent experience

Experience with Cloud migrations. Familiarity with AEM upgrades, troubleshooting, and Apache upgrades. Experience in handling high-priority incidents and root cause analysis. Experience with AI software development tools (Claude or similar).
