YOU WILL...
- perform tests and inspections on rail vehicles to ensure that all technical requirements and standards are met
- ensure the technical feasibility of contractually agreed and approval-relevant tests
- independently create test instructions to demonstrate compliance with functions and standards
- select the necessary measuring equipment for type tests, adapt it to the test objects, and mount sensors if required
- develop and process test software using special tools and perform functional tests directly on the rail vehicle
- plan and conduct coordination meetings for type and functional tests, e.g., with system managers, subcontractors, and testing authorities
Qualifications
YOU HAVE...
- a completed university degree or a job-related vocational training with additional further education, e.g., as a state-certified technician
- very good knowledge of the various systems in a train, ideally with experience in testing subsystems or entire vehicles
- already gained experience in conducting tests on rail vehicles
- work with dedication, show initiative, and possess teamwork and negotiation skills
- fluent command of German and English, both spoken and written
- willingness to travel throughout Germany
