MORE THAN A JOB: A MISSION
We are looking for a Mechanical Systems Engineer in St-Bruno to support the development and integration of rail vehicle mechanical subsystems. In this role, you will work with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, reliable, and innovative solutions that contribute to the future of sustainable mobility.
YOUR ROLE, YOUR IMPACT
- Lead engineering activities for assigned mechanical subsystems throughout the project lifecycle.
- Define and manage technical requirements, interfaces, and design solutions.
- Collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams to support integration, validation, and issue resolution.
- Ensure compliance with customer requirements, industry standards, and project objectives.
You'll work with dedicated teams delivering complex transportation projects that have a direct impact on communities worldwide.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of engineering experience, including at least 3 years in the transportation industry.
- Experience working with complex mechanical systems or subsystems.
- Knowledge of PLM tools, requirements management processes, and CATIA V5/V6 (an asset)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Railway industry experience is preferred; automotive or other transportation experience will also be considered.
- English required; French is an asset.
