Job Description

The Cloud Solutions Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and executing professional services projects for the team/clients. They will collaborate with the team to identify the best solutions, modify systems, and ensure that the service meets the needs of the organization/client.

This role is advertised externally as ENGINEERING SALES SPECIALIST. Internally, the role is classified as (PRE-SALES ENGINEER) within our structure.

Key activities

  1. Ensure compliance with SLAs for operational tasks of assigned accounts.
  1. Be responsible for the US-Brazil Data Center infrastructure.
  1. Be responsible for the availability and operation of assigned services.
  1. Design project architectures for assigned accounts.
  1. Maintain the Adistec solutions portfolio.
  1. Perform product testing from different manufacturers to create new service offerings.
  1. Design and implement Proofs of Concept (PoC) for potential clients.
  1. Implement new technologies in the Data Center.
  1. Escalate AS-related issues to the ATS.
  1. Provide support in testing to replicate failures and find root causes.
  1. Interact with technology service providers and manufacturers within the current Adistec portfolio.
  1. Be responsible for special projects in Data Centers (BGP – Routing, expansions, interconnections, Internet, etc.). Develop solutions for engineering problems of moderate to high complexity.
  1. Collaborate with other engineers to implement operational solutions, defining and adhering to industry best practices.
  1. Execute consulting projects in the professional services area.

Note: This position may involve other projects or miscellaneous tasks as requested or assigned.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related fields.
  1. Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in the IT field.
  1. Computer skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Required)
  1. Languages: Intermediate level of English and Spanish (Required),
  1. Knowledge of: Operating Systems (Windows-Linux), Networking (Intermediate level), Storage Technologies (Intermediate level), Systems Administration (Intermediate level), Virtualization (Intermediate level), Security (Intermediate level), and basic knowledge of vendor software. Implementation experience is a plus.
  1. Required: VCF Knight certification - completed or in progress, and VCF Architect - completed.
  1. Availability to travel up to 25% of the time, according to company needs.
