What you will do day-to-day

  1. Act as a Technical Specialist (SME) in corporate network environments based on Cisco technologies.
  1. Administer, configure, and optimize LAN, WAN, and Data Center solutions, ensuring high availability and performance.
  1. Conduct advanced troubleshooting and resolution of critical network infrastructure incidents at the 3 level.
  1. Implement, administer, and sustain Routing & Switching, Firewalls, and Load Balancer solutions.
  1. Plan and execute firmware/IOS upgrades, patch management, and vulnerability mitigation actions.
  1. Ensure network infrastructure compliance, security, and resilience following market best practices.
  1. Collaborate with global teams, produce detailed technical documentation, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

What we are looking for in the person who will be part of the team

  1. Analytical profile with strong diagnostic and complex problem-solving capabilities.
  1. Excellent communication skills for interaction with multicultural teams and global stakeholders.
  1. Proactivity, autonomy, and a sense of urgency in conducting critical activities.
  1. Ability to perform under pressure in mission-critical and high-availability environments.

Additionally, we seek knowledge and experience in:

  1. Solid experience as a Network Engineer or SME.
  1. Advanced or fluent English for verbal and written communication.
  1. Advanced knowledge in Cisco Routing & Switching (R&S).
  1. Experience with OSPF, BGP, and EIGRP protocols.
  1. Administration of VLANs, STP, HSRP, and VRRP.
  1. Experience with Cisco ASA, Firepower Firewalls, or equivalent technologies.
  1. Knowledge of F5 Load Balancers or similar solutions.
  1. Experience with corporate networks, data centers, and high-availability environments.
  1. Experience with vulnerability management, patch management, and infrastructure upgrades.

Differentiators

  1. Cisco certifications (CCNA, CCNP, or Cisco Specialist).
  1. Knowledge in network automation using Python and/or Ansible.
  1. Experience with monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, Zabbix, or equivalents.
