About the opportunity
Do you want to work with data at scale, Cloud, and modern technologies in a collaborative, high-impact environment? We are looking for a Mid-Level and Senior Data Engineer with strong hands-on experience in SQL (complex queries, joins, and optimization) and Python/PySpark to build robust, scalable, and strategic business solutions. What will you do on a daily basis?
- Develop and optimize data pipelines in cloud environments (GCP, AWS, or Azure)
- Build ETL/ELT solutions with Python and PySpark
- Work with tools such as BigQuery, Dataflow (Apache Beam), and Airflow
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries, ensuring performance and efficiency
- Engage in data modeling, ensuring quality, integrity, and governance
- Automate transformations with DBT
- Integrate different systems and databases
- Monitor and continuously improve the performance of pipelines and queries
- Contribute to the evolution of data architecture and DataOps practices
Requirements
- Solid experience as a Mid-Level or Senior Data Engineer
- Practical mastery of SQL in daily tasks (complex queries, joins, optimization, and troubleshooting)
- Experience with Python applied to data
- Experience with PySpark
- Experience in cloud (GCP, AWS, or Azure)
- Experience with ETL/ELT and data processing
- Knowledge of BigQuery, Dataflow, and Airflow
- Experience with DBT
- Experience with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with large data volumes and performance tuning
- Experience with data architecture (lakehouse, batch/stream)
- Experience with DataOps / CI-CD
- Knowledge of tools such as DataStage
