What you will do in your day-to-day
- Operate and maintain Kubernetes platforms in global corporate environments, ensuring stability, security, and availability.
- Execute vulnerability remediation processes, CVE analysis, and updates of platform images and components.
- Conduct upgrades of add-ons, operators, ingress controllers, and observability components following validation and rollback processes.
- Work on the operation and support of Service Mesh, supporting migration and modernization initiatives for Istio.
- Work with GitOps and CI/CD pipelines using tools such as FluxCD, GitHub Actions, Argo Workflows, and Terraform.
- Participate in the on-call rotation, acting in the resolution of production incidents and continuous improvement of operational runbooks.
- Collaborate with global engineering, infrastructure, and security teams to ensure the consistent evolution of the platform.
Additionally, knowledge of the following is desirable
- Practical experience with Istio, troubleshooting, and Service Mesh observability.
- Kubernetes certifications, such as CKA or CKAD.
- Knowledge of SAP BTP Kyma and Cloud Foundry.
- Experience with Linkerd or other Service Meshes.
- Knowledge of container security using Cosign, SBOMs, OPA, and Kyverno.
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools, such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or Cursor.
- Experience with patching automation using Argo Workflows and Renovate.
Basic qualifications
- We are looking for professionals with practical experience in Kubernetes operations, administration of cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and support of critical platforms in production.
- Experience with GitOps, Infrastructure as Code, observability, and automation through Python, Go, or Bash.
- Experience in vulnerability management processes.
- Advanced English is essential for interaction with globally distributed teams.
