About the opportunity
WE ARE LOOKING FOR PROFESSIONALS WITH EXPERIENCE IN COBOL DEVELOPMENT IN A MAINFRAME ENVIRONMENT, FOR WORK IN BANKING SECTOR PROJECTS, FOCUSING ON THE MAINTENANCE AND EVOLUTION OF CRITICAL SYSTEMS.

WHAT YOU WILL DO DAILY
- Participate in gathering and understanding technical and business requirements
- Develop and maintain applications in a mainframe environment (COBOL)
- Perform unit and integrated testing
- Monitor deployments in production environments
- Participate in maintenance, analyzing and resolving incidents
- Work together with technical teams and business areas
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience with COBOL development (Batch and/or CICS)
- Experience in a mainframe environment
- Knowledge of JCL
- Experience with DB2 databases and use of SQL
- Familiarity with maintenance processes and incident analysis

- Experience in the banking sector
- Knowledge of Assembler
- Experience with tools like Control-M, Changeman, File Manager
