Job Description
- Conceptualize and implement innovative features for the Seller Center to improve the online retail experience
- Work closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, and other engineers to develop effective solutions together
- Use the SCAYLE platform to efficiently manage product and order information
- Optimize application performance through targeted SQL query optimizations
- Conduct code reviews to ensure high quality standards and drive continuous improvements
- Provide technical support as well as analyze and resolve issues to ensure a stable and reliable service for users
- Evaluate and integrate AI-powered features to optimize and automate workflows
Qualifications
- At least 8+ years of relevant professional experience
- Experience with Django 5.x, Tailwind, HTMX, or other JavaScript frameworks
- Experience working with PostgreSQL, Redis, or comparable data storage solutions
- Passion for cleanly structured, efficient, and maintainable code, as well as high standards for codebase quality
- Experience in an English-speaking work environment
- Fluent German language skills in comprehension (C1 level); active German speaking skills are a plus but not a requirement
Nice to Have
- Very good coding skills with Python
- In-depth Django know-how
- Knowledge of Frontend technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
- Contributions to open-source projects
- Experience with innovative greenfield projects or in startup environments, as well as the ability to quickly adapt products to market requirements
