With more than 4,500 ASMers representing 70 nationalities, our people and our advanced semiconductor devices are playing a crucial role in trends such as 5G, cloud computing, AI, and autonomous driving. But we’re more than just a tech company. We value diversity, inclusion and sustainability as we strive to make a positive impact on the world. Our development programs help support your growth, shaping your future and pushing the boundaries of innovation to unleash potential. The Senior Systems Engineer I will perform the duties of a Reliability Engineer, collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Electrical, Mechanical, and Embedded Firmware Engineers, in a laboratory and office environment. The role is responsible for conducting reliability analysis of both ASM’s internal RF and DC products as well as products produced by ASM’s OEM suppliers. Responsibilities also include conducting and supervising all internal ASM reliability tests, including Highly Accelerated Life Test (HALT) testing and Accelerated Life Cycle Testing. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States. Reports to Vice President of Engineering

Role

Responsible for all engineering Failure Analysis (FA) and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and collaborates with responsible engineers to implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrences of failures. Conducts design reviews to identify potential weaknesses and failure points within both ASM’s and ASM’s supplier’s products. Develops, runs, and manages reliability testing of ASM’s RF and DC products using HALT testing and Accelerated Life Cycle Testing. Manages key product metrics such as Mean Time Between Failure (MBTF). Develops and provides monthly reliability status including failure trends and reliability improvements. Participates in product design reviews, provides Design for Reliability (DfR) feedback, and supports Failure Mode And Effects Analysis (FMEA) and qualification testing.
